Since its inception in 1976, Seoul Pharma Co., Ltd., whose corporate purpose is to develop, manufacture and distribute medicine of the highest quality to realize healthy society and human welfare, has devoted herself to drive out and prevent diseases. The factory has been approved as KGMP (Korea Good Manufacturing Practices) in 1992 and has supplied the products of the highest quality timely through continuous improvement of manufacture and process management. In parallel with the main focus for the company's growth always includes aggressive investment for development of new products and dynamic activities for a global market. Research Institute was established in 1997 for the purpose of developing new drugs

As a result of continuous research for new drugs with a liaisoned college laboratory, some new substances for liver diseases have been developed. Their patents have been registered in Korea and U.S.A. and under examination in PCT. As recognized of superiority of the new drugs, the company has been designated as Venture Enterprise by Small & Medium Business Administration in March 2000 and has gone public through KOSDAQ in August 2000.

The first shipment to Vietnam in October 1995 was the curtain raiser for sharp growth of global trades thereafter. Since then, not less than 50 items of the finished products have been exported to Asian countries including Vietnam, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Singapore, Cambodia, Philippines, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, etc. and to African areas such as Tanzania and Nigeria. The company's policy now puts much more priority on activities for international business.
